Spring in NYC hits different—and if you’re still stuck inside, this is your sign to get out there.
This week, Violet Strolls is switching things up: we're walking through the city and ending in Central Park for a full-on picnic hang. Think blankets, snacks, music, and good convo under cherry blossoms and sunshine. Like your Pinterest board, but real life.
The Plan:
We’ll meet up, walk through some classic NYU-adjacent neighborhoods, and head to Central Park with picnic vibes waiting for us.
You bring:
A friend (or come solo and meet new ones)
Your fav snack to share
A blanket or just your hoodie to sit on
A playlist suggestion (we’re aux-friendly)
We’ll bring:
- Picnic basics (some snacks, drinks, and vibes)
- Group games if that’s your thing
- The kind of crowd that’s cool, welcoming, and not weird
Why This One’s Special
It’s spring. We survived midterms. We deserve joy.
Also, let’s be real—Central Park is iconic, but it’s even better when you don’t have to go alone. Whether you’re a first-year still figuring out the subway or a senior trying to soak up every last NYC moment, this is your sign to stop scrolling and start strolling.
Quick Deets
Where: Meet at Washington Square Park
When: 1pm on 29th April
